Rane has more than 27 years’ Experience in Heavy Industry mainly Steel & Fertilizers and he is associated with NALCO water >10 years now.
Prior to joining NALCO, Rane has worked in Steel plants on shop floors Managing various Operations. He worked with HADDED(SABIC) managing Water systems for integrated Steel complex of Flat & Long products. Prior to this he also worked with NEELACHAL ISPAT NIGAM LTD as Dy. Manager Water Systems.
Rane’s Functional Areas of Expertise:
- Heavy Industry Technical consultation- Process & Water Audits in Steel, Fertilizer & Power plants, Benchmarking the process performance, uncovering the findings, Outlining the recommendations for improvement, Executing recommendations with clear action plan with short, medium & long-term actions with clear action log.
- Projects Management/ Engineering Services comprising- Feasibility study, Execution of Front-End Engineering Package (FEEF) development, Basic Design & Engineering, Project Planning & coordination, Budgeting, Fabrication, Erection, pre-testing, Commissioning, start up, ramping up & stabilization of Operations.
- Operations management of Water Systems & utilities in Heavy Industry comprising – Operations, Maintenance, Shutdown/Turnarounds, Spare parts planning & inventory management, Safety, Health & Environment management, People management, Sustainability, Continuous improvements, Budget planning & control etc.
Rane holds graduation degree in Chemical Engineering & masters (MBA) in Operations management.
